I've lived in coastal towns my whole life so I have a think for the sea. The sight of it calms me and there's something magical about staring to the wide open horizon. I still can also remember how the sea looked when my husband proposed to me - he remembered me once saying that I'd love to be proposed near the sea.
These little cards I did for Finnabair team celebrate my love for the sea. They also celebrate the new collection of Finnabair stamps! You can see the new designs here in her own blog (link). And you can see one other new product, too - an inspiring to frame!
The new “Net and Wire” set turned my thoughts to sea and waves. I created two little ATCs using many stamps from the new collection. I used the thin netting stamp in the set as detail in the background.
The waves I made with stamps from the “Dirty Walls” set using Distress and Archival inks in different shades. I also added white embossing as sea foam using white embossing powder and another stamp from the “Dirty Walls” set.
Both of the cards have similar backgrounds but the decorations are different - similar elements but in different composition. The hooks are cut from my husbands old lures.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Wow! Kuinka kaunista, aivan unohtumatonta! Onko mahdollista vaihtaa, plis, pliis? Jos on, tässä minun vaatimattomia kortteja: http://scrap-utilis.blogspot.fi/p/blog-page_9.html
Thank you :")

Suurkiitos Inna! Valitettavasti nämä molemmat ovat jo kotiutuneet uusiin koteihin, mutta tulevaisuudessa vaihdan mielelläni!
