Gypsy Moments ATC - Canvas Corp Brands

It has been a really busy month! I've created posted here and there outside my own blog and several crafts still need to be shown here at my own blog too and the month is almost done! Luckily there's another month starting so slowly I'll get everything shown here as well.

One of the projects that has already been showed in another post is this set of ATCs. And while these cards are concerned, they have actually been shown in two places: the Canvas Corp company blog (link) and also in the post I did for Scrap365 blog showing the Gypsy Moments collection (link).

So these are ATCs done using the ATC sized printed File Folders and tags from the "Gypsy Moments" collection. They represent the three corner stones: faith, hope and love. For the colors I used the three primaries – yellow, blue and red. Well, to tell you the truth it’s more like yellow, turquoise and pink, but you’ll get my idea.

I used the folders cut in half as the base for the cards and layered different tags on top. The words in the cards are made using a stamp set by Unity Stamp which also was in my DT pack. I fist stamped the words with Versamark to a piece of “Gypsy Moments” paper and embossed it with clear powder. Then I colored the piece. The clear embossing created a resist so the word stayed in it’s original color and the area around it was toned with the primary I chose to use. I then cut the word out and finally traced around the letters with a sharp black felt pen. Lastly I added some more painty touches with Tattered Angels media.
