Not so long ago I was presenting the "Gypsy Moments" collection both over at Canvas Corp blog and also the Scrap365 blog. I did several projects for the post and one of them was these crates. I also made a minialbum and ATCs, the latter of which I blogged yesterday.
The collection in question has different kinds of tags, folders and cards to make it easy for you to capture those little moments that count. But there’s also two sizes of lovely little crates in the collection. I got both the small and bigger one to play with.
The smaller crate, shown in the top photo, is going to store some of my swapped ATCs. I’ve been thinking how to have them at hand to browse through, but still nicely in one place. The little crate is perfect for this!
As I love to use different mediums in my own ATCs I wanted to use those in the crate, too. I then decorated the crate using Tattered Angels mediums. First I added some ephemera to the side of the crate using gel medium and then colored the embellishments with High Impact paints. Some of the metals used in the crate are from 7Gypsies – please check the products list at the end of this post for further details.
The white, bigger crate, I'm going to use to store some of my crafting supplies. I decorated it simply with a few tags and a canvas shape. The little tags are from the “Gypsy Moments” collection and I decorated them with stamping and also a few embellishments.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a ghoulish, surprising Halloween!
