My Way or No Way - Inzpira

Hot Sunday! I've been sharing a few oldies this week and the theme continues. This layout was published some time ago in Inzpira magazine, on their issue 6/2013. The magazine was all about chili so this layout is inspired by that red hotness. 

The topic is the strong mind of the younger one. She's very head strong and wants things to go her way or no way. I love her for being so determined! Because of the chili, and her strong will, I used reds and made bold and energetic layout.

Lämpöistä sunnuntaita! Olen jakanut tällä viikolla muutamia vanhempia sivuja ja tämä kuuluu siihen kategoriaan myös. Tämä sivu julkaistiin Inzpiran numerossa 6/2013. Lehden teemana oli chili ja sen innottamana tein tämän punaisen, räiskyvän sivun. 

Sivun aiheena on nuorempi vahvatahtoinen tytteli. Hän on omapäinen ja haluaa asioiden menevän joko niin kuin hän haluaa tai ei ollekaan. Minusta on ihana huomata, miten päättäväinen tirppa on! Johtuen aiheesta ja chilistä tein sivusta punavoittoisen ja energisen.

Hi there! This Turisas inspired layout was published in the February issue of Inzpira magazine. There was also a tutorial there how to create that title. 

I used gesso, mists and inks to create that background. I kept my color palette mainly in black, white and red as the band mainly uses red and black. I also included my gig ticket to the page.

The magazine is available via Google Play and App Store.

Heippa! Tämä Turisaksen inspiroima sivu julkaistiin Inzpira-lehden helmikuun numerossa. Siinä oli myös tutoriaali tuon otsikon tekemiseen. 

Käytin sivun taustaan gessoa, mistejä ja musteita. Pidin väriskaalan pääasiassa mustassa, punaisessa ja valkoisessa, koska bändin ulkoasu on musta-punainen. Liitin sivuun myös keikkalippuni.

My Bond - Inzpira

It's almost Christmas! Time to take it easy and relax, maybe even watch movies? Here's a page that was published in Inzpira magazine some time ago. 

When I was younger, the only right Bond was Sean Connery. But when Daniel Craig was chosen for the post and I saw the first movie he made - I was hooked. Since then he has been "my Bond".

On melkein joulu! Aika ottaa rauhallisesti ja rentoutua, ehkäpä jopa katsella elokuvia? Tällä aasin sillalla asiaan eli tähän sivuun, joka julkaistiin tovi sitten Inzpira-lehdessä. 

Kun olin nuorempi Sean Connery oli se ainut oikea Bond. Mutta kun Daniel Craig valittiin 007 rooliin ja kävin katsomassa hänen ensimmäisen elokuvansa olin myyty. Siitä lähtien tämä herra on ollut "minun Bondini".

Storyteller - Inzpira

Hello there! Here's another oldie that was published in Inzpira magazine some time ago. It's made of my older daughter who's a little storyteller. She's always inventing stories while she plays and is eager to tell them otherwise, too. 

I used masking tape, gesso and mists for the background. Then I added some stamping and pencil doodling and the paper layers on top. I used the same photo twice in different size at my page.

Hei siellä! Tämä sivu on taas vanhempaa tuotantoa ja se julkaistiin Inzpira- lehdessä jo jokin aika sitten. Aiheena on vanhempi tyttöni, joka on varsinainen sadunkertoja. Leikkiessään hän usein keksii satuja ja kertoo niitä mielellään muutenkin. 

Sivun taustaan on käytetty maalarinteippiä, gessoa ja mistejä. Päälle lisäsin myös leimailua ja lyijykynäraapustelua. Päälimmäisena on paperikerrokseet ja tuplavalokuva.

Dream Big - Inzpira Scraplift

Happy Tuesday! This layout was published in August issue of the Inzpira magazine. There was a layout by Nina Christensen to be scraplifted and here's my take on the piece. 

The original piece had the text "Dream big" in it and I though to use the same in my title. I also took inspiration of the design and the scattered elements.

Iloista tiistaita! Tämä sivu on tehty Inzpira-lehden elokuun numeroon. Kyseessä on "skräpistysgalleria", jossa on tarkoituksena inspiroitua valitusta työstä. Tämän työn pohjana oli Nina Christensenin leiska. 

Alkuperäisessä työssä oli teksti "Dream big", joten päätin käyttää samaa otsikkonani. Käytin sivuuni myös mallileiskan asettelua sekä ripottelin elementtejä sinne tänne.

Jädee - Inzpira

Hello! Today I want to share with you this older page which was created for Inzpira and published in March. The topic of the page is ice cream and how our younger girl called it before she learned the word. There's some yellow acrylic paint and stamping at the background together with gelly rolly doodled circles. 

It's fun to publish these older creations and to see how much has changed since then. Of course the kids are getting bigger but I also mean my scrapbooking style. How some of the elements that I use almost in every single layout I create today are not there in this layout or can be seen here, too. Like the black splashes are there, but the pencil doodling ain't.

Hei! Tänään bloggaan vihdoin tämän työn, jonka tein Inzpira-lehteen ja joka julkaistiin maaliskuussa. Sivun aiheena on jäätelö ja miten nuorimmainen sitä kutsui, ennen kuin oppi sanan "jäätelö". Taustalla on keltaista akryylimaalia ja leimailua. Pienet ympyrät on piirretty gelly rolly -kynällä. 

On hauska julkaista tällaisia vanhempia töitä, sillä niistä huomaa, miten paljon pieniä muutoksia tyylissä on tapahtunut. Tottakai sivusta näkee myös lasten kasvua, mutta omaan silmään otti heti nuo sivussa olevat mustat roiskeet ja toisaalta sieltä puuttuvat lyijykynäriipustelut.

Kesäilta - Inzpira Magazine

This layout is another oldie, can you tell? It was published in Inzpira magazine in their sketch-based gallery December 2012. 

The layout is really simple - only subtle touches of mixed media, a few strips of paper and cluster of embellishments. The topic is a summer evening, how August nights are warm, delightful and the color of the light is beautiful.

Tämä sivu on vanhempaa tuotantoa. Näkyykö se? Tämä sivu julkaistiin Inzpira-lehdessä joulukuussa 2012 luonnosgalleriassaan. 

Leiska on tosi simppeli - vain muutama sipaisu sekatekniikkaa, muutamia paperisuikaleita ja rykelmä koristeita. Aiheena on ihanat elokuiset ihanat, lämpimät illat. Valo silloin on aivan ihana!

Innokas - Inzpira magazine

This is also an oldie, like previous post. This layout was published in Inzpira magazine in May. The layout is about one enthusiastic musician and I don't mean my husband. Both of the girls are keen players of various instruments, too, but the younger one of them is even more keen. Sometimes the first thing she does after waking up is to climb to the keyboard stool and start playing.

Tämäkin sivu on vanhempaa tuotantoa, kuten edellinen bloggauskin. Sivu on julkaistu Inzpira lehden toukokuun numerossa. Sivun aiheena on innokas muusikko enkä tällä kertaa tarkoita aviomiestäni. Molemmat tyttömme soittelevat eri soittimia mielellään, mutta nuorempi heistä on vielä innokkaampi kuin isosiskonsa. Pienempi aloittaa joskus aamumme synan soitolla - heti noustuaan hän kipuaa soittimen viereiseen tuoliin ja alkaa musisoimaan.
