Fri-YAY! Yesterday I shared a card I made for an article at Craft Stamper, that never saw the publication date. I also wrote that I made another, dimensional project using the same stamp. So here it is - a school of jellyfish wobbling above the coral reef!
Like with the card, the jellies are done using vellum. alcohol inks and clear glitter embossing powder. The sea creatures are mounted on top of the reef with wobblers attached to the wires so they can slightly move. The reef on the other hand is done using air drying clay. I sculpted it, painted it using bright Impasto colors and then treated the structure using white Matte wax and dark watercolor. The watercolor sunk into the grooves and heightened the texture.
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a creative, sunny weekend!
