Moikka! I love, love, loved the colors of the March challenge mood board! They are something I wouldn’t ever think of combining on my own but go so well together. Such a fresh, sweet, spring like palette! I used all the colors in my page, but the freshness of the palette got me thinking about a lot of white space as well.
The nature elements in the mood board got me thinking about forest and nature. Especially I loved the branches and evergreens. I incorporated those to my page using die cut elements. I also wanted to add something inspired by all the water drops that are around the mood board. I added some dots to the background using a stencil and incorporated the droplet idea also with the epoxy stickers.
The way the nature elements also inspired my piece was the way I incorporated the title. To me that echoes both the beautiful play in the branches and also the mirror effect in the left bottom corner photo. Also, the composition of the elements on the opposite sides in an homage to the reflection on top of the water.
Thank you for stopping by today!
