Syysterveiset – that means autumn greetings! How’s the weather and season in your neck of woods? The weather here in southern Finland has taken a turn towards winter and mid-Finland is already covered in snow! I doubt it will stay, but still. Today I'm sharing a fifth guest project for Paper Garden. This time it’s a really quick and easy one, a fairy card.
The inspiration to this came from the beautiful old post card I got inside my box of goodies. I loved the card as it was, but as a crafter I naturally needed to alter it, to make something out of it. So I cut the little fairy out and gave her something else to sit on and changed the look otherwise, too.
Where as I used text from an old book in my previous project, the layout, I now used another old post card for the source of my text. Naturally I could have left the card without a greeting, but somehow it felt naked without one. To add a little extra something to it, I embellished the piece with some lace. If you want to see, how the card was made – please watch the video!
Thank you for your visit today! Wishing you golden, art filled autumn days! I’ll be back with a couple more projects soon. Ta ta for now!
