Snow roses - Finnabair Brand Ambassador

Good evening and lovely Sunday! Boy do I have exciting news! The big announcement went live yesterday, the revealing of the brand new team - Finnabair Brand Ambassadors.

I was so honored, so happy, so astounded when I was asked to be one of them. Naturally I said yes immediately! But just look at the company I'm in! There's so much talent, so much artistic inspiration in there. Some of my favorite creative people, too. Just wowsers! You can read more about the Ambassadors here (link) in Finnabair's blog and also see some fabulous art there as well.

To celebrate the occasion, I created some frosty ATCs. I used the Crackle Pastes in these - a product which I use a bit rarely, but which creates a lovely effect. It's great for aged effects but also for frosty and snowy projects like these ATCs.

I started the cards by adding a layer or Clear Crackle to the cardstock and then started to build layers on top. There's stenciled Modeling paste in there as well as ink, Snowflake Paste, Glass Glitter, Soft Gloss Gel and watercolor.

I quite like how these turned out! My trick or tip with Crackle Paste is to use a subtle heat source underneath. The best crackling effect I've got so far is a generous layer of paste and then letting the paper project air dry on top of a radiator. The electric ones are not to be covered, but we have water circulating ones in our apartment and they do the trick.

Another tip would be creating the snowy effect - Glass Glitter and Snowflake Paste work wonders together! The glitter creates an icy look, like shaved ice where as paste creates the frosty look like snow had just fallen.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! Wishing you all a great start to the new week!
