Happy Friday! Today it's my time over at 7 Dots Studio blog (link) where I share two layouts with a teal background. Also the composition is quite similar in each one, but because of the different accent colors and style of the embellishments, the finished pages are different after all!
The first page is about my younger daughter and something she just got – a skateboard. She’s been talking about it quite a while and during the summer we finally bought her one. As she’s only five, we naturally got also a helmet and the whole protective gear. Funny enough she learned how to stay on the board and get forward the first time she tried! Now we’ve been practicing almost every day.
Both pages have somewhat similar layers – this layout I started with gesso and then added watercolor, mist and ink on top. There’s also some stamping and doodling there. This page I made using green, teal and a touch of white.
One more thing the pages have in common is that there’s just the 12x12 sheet of patterned paper in both – the layers are done using tags, stickers and diecuts! Well, there’s a small envelope and some doilies in the pages as well, but the only piece of patterned paper is the background in each!
Thank you for stopping by today!
