Happy Saturday! Even today's page is in Saturday mood with the drink and everything. It's done for Scrap FX using the new collection. From this link (link) you can see all the new chippies - like the great drink glasses!
The layout is made about a lovely drink in the company of good friends. We visited a new steam punk themed bar in Helsinki city center and the "Gigglemug" I had is by far the best drink I've ever had! So of course I needed to document that.
I started the page with some mists and stencils. First I added some black India ink to the side and then sprayed the "Fireworks" pattern on top. I also added another color through "Words of Wisdom" stencil. The background also has dots drawn through the "Circle Star" stencil and some stamped arrows using the "Chevron Border" stamp.
The main element in the layers behind the photo is a strip from the "Filmstrips Transparency" sheet. As the bar had a steam punk style decor the goggles and mustache from the "Photo Props" set fitted the page perfectly. Naturally I needed to add a drink in the decorations as well from the "Cocktail Glasses" set. There's also hearts, a piece of the arrow and a geotag. The title is a chippie, too. The black ones are colored with India ink marker and the colorful ones are treated with alcohol ink markers. The golden ones are treated with Fab Foil.
