I’ve said it before but I say it again – I love how the different collections of 7 Dots Studio go together! I find it hard to limit myself to a single collection as I like to mix and match and it’s always wonderful to be able to do so! This page for example holds papers from four different collections but they all still fit together nicely. What I also love is the color – turquoise is by far my favorite one!
The page is about me and playing dress up. The picture is of me wearing my mom’s summer dress but that one wasn’t my favorite piece. The gown I have on in the picture was purple, blue and white – really strong print, great taffeta like fabric, but my favorite one was moss or olive green crêpe dress. I loved the feel of the heavy fabric, how it fell beautifully and trailed after me when I was playing a princess but what stroke me the most was the back of the dress with tens of little buttons and loops. I remember disliking the color but loving the details. The journaling about my dress up memories is written on the back of the page.
To give the page a bubbly, fun feel I used lots of circles in it. The layout is actually a workshop sample, made for my “We shaped the world aRound” class in Norway.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a great week!
