Hello there! I don't art journal much, but sometimes I enjoy doing something really different from my usual scrapbooking style and a journal is great place to let loose and experiment. This is a spread that I made for Craft Stamper magazine, to November 2014 issue. It was published in an article called "Journal Your Art Out: Remember To Have Fun".
I used similar elements that I usually play with in my layouts, but this time I cut the photo loose from the background and turned my younger daughter into a fairy soaring through colorful space. There's some texture in the page but not too much that the journal will still go shut.
