Welcome spring card - Finnabair Creative Team

And now something completely different! Finnabair Creative Team had the pleasure and honor to be featured in Prima's blog past week, The topic was the wood mounted stamps and we were asked to add a touch of green to our projects to celebrate spring. You can see the post here (link)!

This week has shown that spring is just around the corner here in Helsinki. There’s not much green in sight yet, but soon the leaves are starting to burst out in every tree and the whole scenery turns to different shades of green.

To celebrate the new season I made a little card. I used the wood block stamps to make the butterfly in the decoration but also to make the background. First I stamped the rose pattern to a piece of cardstock, embossed it with glittering embossing powder and then misted the piece with green mist. I also created ghost like butterfly shapes to the background using embossing ink and the green mica powder.

Please visit the Prima blog to see all the projects and also the stamp designs! Oh and there's a giveaway at Finnabair's Facebook that holds also a few of the stamps!
