Happy Sunday! Today I want to share a page I originally did as a GDT for Wow! Embossing Powders. I also have a video for you as I taped my process while working on this page. I hope you'll like it!
I've been doing more pages about me lately. This is another page to that series. The journaling speaks how I didn't follow music trends when I was a kid but listened to the radio more. When I then heard Roxette for first time, it was my first favorite band and I just had to buy a cassette!
The photo in the layout is actually taken this this year, but I didn't want to wait and browse to find the right one to the page. And to tell you the truth, I think there isn't one with me holding a Roxette cassette. I though that those headphones tie this modern take to the topic of the page well enough.
I used a warm, candy like color scheme in the page. Partly it became from the happy feeling that memory brought me and partly I was remembering that the cassette had a neutral, warm cover. I had made the dots to the background previously when playing with a gelatin printing plate and the Wow! powders fitted the color scheme perfectly!
