By The Sea ATC cards - Canvas Corp Brands

Hi there! We're having a total heat wave here in Finland so I guess the beaches are quite crowded but oh, how I still wish I was there right now! To keep me dreaming I share these ATCs I did for Canvas Corp Brands using mainly 7Gypsies but there's also Tattered Angels mediums in there and also a touch of Canvas Corp in the form of the rope.

For the main images and most of the paper layers I used 7Gypsies' Maritime collection. Some of the images are cut from the patterned papers like the seashell or the fish and some are from the die cut ephemera pack like the compass. The base of the each card is made using a card from the Conservatory tag pack. 

I really loved the wavy print so I used that one in every card. Most of the patterned papers I used are from the 6x6" pad as their patterns are smaller and thus go better in the small size of the ATC.

I wanted the cards to have a water / beach like feel. For the water part I used Tattered Angel's Glimmer Glazes and Stained Glass to have the sheer, translucent feel of the water. I painted it in the cards randomly and added some splashes, too. 

For the beach part I mixed together Glimmer Glaze, High Impact paint, some glue and embossing powder. After drying the feel was quite what I was looking for! I also added a few touches of the Glaze as such to some of the cards.
