Just "eh" - YouTube live recording

Moikka moi! It's another week and new posts! This project, however, might look a bit familiar. It's something I did during the YouTube live a couple of weeks back. I used the same composition and colors, so it really echoes the sample project!

The idea behind this live and page was just to create and not over think it. The spread started with some loose scribbles to break the blank page, putting all pressure off. I also tried to use quite a lot easy access supplies like adds and a ballpoint pen, to make it easier to re-create something similar without any pressure.

You can see the announcement post here (link) with detailed materials list and photos of the sample project. For the recording of the live, click here (link) to take you to my YouTube channel!

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a fine Tuesday!

No-brainer - YouTube live announcement

Moikka moi! This coming Saturday I'm keeping another YouTube live! It's going to be the last one this year, as I'm keeping a Holiday break during December.

During the live I'm re-creating this art journal spread. The idea behind the page was just going with the flow, building layers and using easy access materials. Well, to be honest, as you can read from the materials list, the latter idea took a bit of a turn at some point, but mainly I'm using just paints and pens together with non-branded embellishments. I'm also doing an easy packaging tape transfer.

Hope you can join me on Saturday! See you then!

The Raven - YouTube live recording

Hi there and wonderful Tuesday to you all! Last Saturday I kept a YouTube live and created a raven card during it. You can see the announcement post of the live here (link). There's pictures of the sample project in the post but also a detailed list of materials.

I was using different stamps to make the card. I started with the background using Ranger Distress watercolor pencils as my colorant. I then layered some ink on top and continued to stamping the focal elements. I used black ink for the lot, but while the raven and the moon were stamped on top of white cardstock, I used a gel print for the leaves.

If you didn't catch the live while it was happening, you can watch the recording here (link) on my YouTube channel.

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a lovely week!

Quoth the Raven - YouTube live announcement

Hi there and great new week! It's a YouTube live kind of week.

This coming Saturday, October 19th, I'm again keeping a YouTube live. This time I'm making a Halloween card using a variety of stamped elements. Apart from the bats and the sentiment label, all other elements in this card are stamped, including the background.

This card was partly inspired by a series of cards I'm blogging on Friday. However, it seems I got the YouTube scheduling muddled and the process video of the cards is actually live on my YouTube channel already! Oops.

Underneath next photo is the list of materials, if you want to check something out. Hope to see you on Saturday! Here's the direct link (link) to the live.

Eclectic Gatherings - a YouTube live announcement

Moikka moi! This week's Saturday I'm keeping a little card live! This time there's not that much of a technique in the make - a little, but not technique oriented, but I'm more trying to inspire to use anything and everything in card making!

I've had some comments that my makes are filled with details and there's different materials in them. During this live I'll re-create this card that mixed stamped details with molded ones, throws some wood and embossing in the pile and tops everything with gauze-like tea-bag and sewing thread. During the live I'm open to questions about how I choose my materials or rather anything connected to my creative process!

As always, if you wish to create along side me, I've included the list of materials below the next photo. The list includes for example a gel-printed sheet, but you can use painted piece or patterned cardstock instead. It's that circle behind the focal cluster.

I'm going to add a poll to my Instagram Stories whether you wish me to mold the embellishment during the live or not. I'm going to show you the decorating part anyway, but if you wish to see the simple molding part as well. It's the "hot glue in silicone mold" I've used and showed many times before.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope to see you on Saturday!

Yours is the sweetest story - a YouTube live recording

Hello there and splendid new week to you all! Today I'm sharing the make I crafted during this month's live. This time the live was about using watercolors a couple of ways as well as sharing some ideas with stencils. If you were unable to catch the live while it was happening, you can watch the recording on my YouTube channel here (link).

I followed the same composition and color scheme in this project that I used in the sample piece (link). Sometimes I spice things up during the live, but this time I tried to be quite truthful to the sample. There's some minor differences, though. Like the title, I didn't use the same words - partly because I didn't have a duplicate of the sentiment sticker. Also the character is from the same set but not the same.

If you want to see a more detailed list of materials, that's underneath the next photo, please see the announcement post (link) or the description box of the live.

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a fine day!

Control your reaction - YT live recording

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing an art journal spread I did in a recent live. You can watch the recording here (link) on my YouTube channel, in case you missed the live while it was happening.

As you can see, I used a magazine cut-out as my focal point and created a colorful background for it. I used acrylic paints and stamping to create the background but also the patterned paper strips I used in the spread. If you want to see a list of the materials I used, you can see the complete list in the announcement post (link) or in the description box of the video.

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a lovely day!
