Melancholic Holiday - mixed media decorations


Welcome to the first process video of November! As we celebrate All Saints' Day tomorrow, I first thought to make something Halloween-ish for this post, but then decided to look ahead more than backwards and made some Holiday decorations.

I wanted to combine white, brown and nice fir green in these, but as you can see from the photos, the green part is a little bit hidden. It's in there, though, and in the process! If you want to see how I made the decorations, please see the video below!


Like I say in the video, their vibe ended up being a bit weird after all. Maybe it was the original thought of Halloween that got me! I mean the juxtaposition of the cheerful, joyous sentiments and relatively stern looking kids is somewhat bothering! Like very, very dry humor. But tell me what do you think, do you get the weird vibe or are they just charming?
