Hello there and happy new week! I'm still in Valentine feels this week. First I'm sharing the recording of a Facebook live I kept some weeks ago and then there's another Valentine inspired project also later in the week. Also, it's the last minutes to take part in the Valentine stamp giveaway on my Instagram (link)!
But back to today's project. It's a little decorated book shaped box. I added texture in a couple of ways on top of the wooden surface and then started making a bigger composition on top. The color scheme is that of baby pink and peachy pink, fitting to the Valentine's Day, but naturally you could swap the acrylics you use and create for example an ocean box.
The live was a bit like a cooking show as I had step projects done because of the drying times. I had the sample and then two others in various stages - one from the beginning and one after the first collaged layers had dried. If you couldn't join the live while it was happening, you can see the recording underneath.
