Hello there! Not long ago I shared a snowflake I made for Art Daily Cafe's December theme (link). While I found that base, I also grabbed another one and created this snowflake assemblage. Where as I used crackle paste in the Art Daily version, this one has a mix of crackle and Paper Paste on it.
Finnabair's Paper Paste is one of my favorite mediums for snowy projects. Like the name suggests, the texture is that of handmade paper or papermaché dough. To my eye that's perfect for creating cascading snowdrifts or thick layers of snow on tree branches.
The composition on this snowflake is quite similar to the one I made for Art Daily Cafe - the cluster is in the middle. For this one I went with more delicate items and materials like lace and that chiffon flower.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a nice Tuesday!
