Best Wishes - a card

Heippa and happy Monday! It's under two weeks to Christmas! Wow. Just wow. Have you sent your Holiday cards already? Or do you even send those out? We've missed sending the cards one year when Finnish post was on strike but otherwise each year we send out handmade cards to friends and family in Finland and abroad. We try to be early but because the post is what it is these days, sometimes the Holiday cheers arrive after new year! But it's the thought that counts, right?

Today I'm sharing a little winter card. It could be a Holiday greeting, too, but I stamped the words "Best Wishes" in Finnish so it could be used after the Holiday season, too. I fell in love with the fluffy cardinal bird and ordered it while making an order to Korttipaja. I colored the stamp using brush tip markers. The blueish background is a cut out from my cards to Ihana magazine (link) and the red background a patterned paper from 7 Dots Studio. The heavy snowfall is done using white gesso.

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you all the best for this week!
