Hi there! How are you today? If you follow Nathalie Kalbach and/or Sarah Matthews, you've probably seen that during April they are hosting an ArtFoamies Challenge. Each day during April they both will share a project on their Instagram accounts inspired by the theme of the day. You can see the themes in the picture below but also in the announcement post here (link) in Nathalie's blog.
As you can see, today's theme is "Antique". I created this card with that theme in mind. I used vintage tones in the card to convey the antique idea and highlighted it with the molded little frame. I used golden paint and white wax to make it look old.
The background is done using one of the segments of the "Triple Play" foam stamp. I used Distress Ink to stamp the pattern to a piece of cardstock that was left from another project. To highlight the focal point, I stamped a circle with "Groove Street" foam stamp using a darker brown ink.
