Hi there! I received some beautiful Paper Garden printables from previous Paper Garden kits in my last DT pack for Paper Garden. Oh my, they are gorgeous! And so easy to use as they have elements to match and layer. I created this little tag with elements from one of the sheets.
As you can see from the video I made, I started with collaging. That’s a handy way to start a project. This time I used a chipboard tag which already had an adhesive coating, but you can naturally use soft body gel medium or clear gesso to adhere the first layers. I then continued building layers to the background using clear gesso as my adhesive. Like I say in the video – that’s getting two in the price of one, both adherance and priming.
I follow the same color scheme throughout the tag. As the focal point I’m going to place to the tag has violets, I use purple in the background colors as well. There’s some patterned paper with those colors in the layers, then purple watercolor and finally I adhere little pieces of purple Paper Garden tape near my photo. I also add one of the violet stickers to the piece.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you like the video! Have a wonderful weekend!
