Dream without fear - Prima Marketing

Hi there and happy August! Can you believe it's already August and soon autumn starts? Summer seems just to swoosh by! Luckily August is usually still pretty warm, but I do love the hint of harvest tones in the air.

What I also love is “Where’s Waldo” -styled projects! Well, not that there’s a guy with striped shirt hiding among the layers, but I really love the joy of discovering little treasures like lamps, can opener rings or coins in altered art and canvases. I also love to reuse things and add little treasures in my projects. It’s always fun to transform them into something else using Finnabair mediums. A coat of gesso, a touch of Metallique paints or layer of Patina Pastes and the item is totally transformed!

This canvas styled wooden piece isn’t big, but still I managed to add some items that are somehow connected to me in there. There’s a tea bag, button, sewing machine bobbin and a pen nib there. I also used one of the crochet pieces I got from my grandmother as a part of the composition. Can you spot them all?

Thank you for stopping by today! This piece was made for Prima Marketing for a post with a hidden theme. You can see the original post here (link)

Materials: Prima Marketing, Sinelli, Varalusikka
