Hi there! A row of videos continues! There's been two layout videos already and now to spice things up a little, here's an altered brush. Several of the elements in the brush are made using Sizzix dies but there's some mediums and metal embellishments, too.
As you can see from the video below, I started the brush by die cutting the elements using different dies and materials. For the supporting layers and pieces I used a sturdier material and for the top layers lighter. So the swirls and feathers are done using chipboard and Bigz dies and the flowers and the wreath are with cardstock and done using a Thinlits and a Bigz die.
My idea with the brush was to make something that would fit the upcoming winter. It's not here yet, at least not the snow isn't, but soon the season turns again from late autumn to early winter. I'm not sure that we get any snow here in the southern Finland before new year, but one can always wish!
