From winter back to autumn, at least for a post! It was a golden autumn day when I made these cards, so when I saw the "Meadow Leave" set I wanted to turn them into colorful bursts of autumn. These cards are made using Sizzix dies. From here (link) you can see some fabulous autumn makes and here (link) download free autumn papers!
I used Distress Oxides for the background layering different colors to them. Then on top I created a leaf pattern using a self made stencil. I cut a leaf pattern using the "Asian Flower" die and used the negative as my stencil. I then inked the leaves using a grey colored ink. I also stamped some leaves or grass in the background as well as some text.
To embellish each card I used two die cut. First I layered a sun cut with "Rainy Days and Sunshine" set. On top I then attached some leaves using a stapler. The see-through leaves are cut from transparency and inked using alcohol inks. Te other ones are out of paper and inked with Distress Inks. I used a 7 Dots Studio sticker to add an autumn thought to each card. To finish the cards I added some scribbles with white marker and made splashes with it, too.
If you'd like to have one of the cards, please send me a mail! You'll find the address from the side bar. Thank you for stopping by today!
