Yesterday I share "an oldie but goodie" journal page and today it's time for a layout. This also has been unpublished here in my own blog for about a year. It was originally created as a guest piece for Wow! Embossing Powder which is kind of fun as I now am a part of the team. There's several powders used in the background as well as a couple of stamps. The composition was inspired by Louise Nelson (link).
There's something magical about jellyfishes. The way they float and how the shape constantly changes when they swim. These beauties were captured a couple of years ago in Berlin zoo and aquarium. What I also like about the photo is the color scheme, the lovely blues ranging from inky dark tones to pale baby blues.
The background is done using several stamps - the big fleur-de-lis from Carabelle Studio, the words from Wow! and also a dot stamp from 7 Dots Studio. The main composition is embossed using several blue powders, trying to make an ombre look to the design. The dots are embossed using white trying to mimic air bubbles.
I thank you for stopping by today! Have an awesome day!
