It's Monday! The weather here in Finland is definitely starting to have an autumn vibe but there's summer in full throttle in Prima blog today with new Finnabair Art Recipe (link). I was happy to be able to guest in this post and create my take with Art Stones, Art Pebbles and beach style colors - blue, gold and white.
Art Stones fit the summer theme so well as they remind me of sand and beach! I started to think and even asked my husband, what does the word “summer” bring to his mind. He listed the beach, vacation and travels so I altered a tiny little cardboard suitcase for this Art Recipe project.
First I added some fabrics from the Fabric Pack to inside of the suitcase and molded them into shapes by using the Sculpture Medium. Next I added the Art Stones for the beach-like, sandy feel. After adding other embellishments and colors I then added the Art Pebbles and painted them using one of the Opal Magic acrylic paints, making them look like pearls in the sand. A summer-like treasure chest was finished!
