Yesterday I shared first page I did for the Turtle Soup Creative Magazine and here's the other page! You can see the new issue of the magazine here (link) in the magazine's blog. Like I wrote in my previous post, this time the color palette was really colorful and joyous, so I added a lot of colors to my pages as well.
Where the first page was blue and yellow, I made this page with yellow and pink colors. Like in the previous one I also added some grey in the mix to balance things out a little.
The topic of the page is my older daughter's sixth birthday. As she turned seven earlier this year it was about time to get these pictures scrapbooked! This year she wanted a Merida birthday party but back then she wanted to have a carrot fest with a carrot cake (baked by her daddy) and a carrot dress. You really can't see the dress so well in the photo, but I sewed her a fancy dress in the colors of a carrot upside down - so the bodice was orange and then there was several layers in the hem of green tulle and chiffon.
Have a great Tuesday!
