Hello there! I've been sharing creations I made for 7 Dots Studio this month and shall continue with one more project. This layout is done to the latest challenge about stamping. Please check the requirements and instructions how to participate from 7 Dots Studio's own blog! Underneath is the inspirational circle which you need to add to your post in order to participate!
I wanted to treat the stamps a bit differently in this project and used a technique I learnt this spring when attending Version Scrap. Although I enjoy using stamps with Archival Ink and usually add stamping on my project this challenge called for a more inspirational way to add stamping to me. So instead of ink I used NeoColor II crayons to stamp. It creates a lovely watercolor like effect. The picture in the layout is of a flower shop in Paris during the event.

Every time I read the title of this layout, the song by Ace of Base starts to play in my head. But it is a beautiful life! I wanted to keep the layout cheery and happy so I used pinks and oranges in the color palette. Instead of patterned papers I made the layers behind the photo mainly using tags from different collections.
The summery feeling goes nicely to this day, too. Wishing you all a lovely Midsummer's Eve! Relax and take it easy! We here in Finland will watch the sun never setting!
