It's Monday! First of all wishing you a great start to the week! Here's my page to CSI challenge #108 which went online during Friday-Saturday night (Finnish time). I found the color scheme difficult, but loved the mixed media creation in the scene photo.
I used newspaper together with pieces of note patterned vellum to create the background. I attached the pieces to the background with gesso and then created a few circles on top using crayons and Pan Pastels.
The journaling is about what art means to me. On the front I wrote only a few lines about how art creates sensations and how crafting can sometimes create a fluttering feeling - like butterflies in the stomach when something interesting is about to be created. On the back of the layout I wrote a bit more personal thoughts about art.
