I feel like a little rebel as we were allowed to make a card with tea, too. I've never been a big coffee drinker, even if I'm Finnish, but I do love my black tea. So instead of going with coffee, I again created a card celebrating tea. If you wish to see how I made the card, please see the steps below!
But before hopping to the steps, I add the last hop info here if you wish to get hopping already! Please visit the coffee lovers blog hop (link) for the full sponsor line up and get started. Winners will also be announced over on their blog after the hop has run its course. If you arrived here through WOW!, awesome! If you still haven't visited the main hop post at WOW!, please follow this link (link)!
Step 1. Stamp the adorable tea bags using WOW! ink and emboss using Honey - a perfect tea tone as well.
Step 2. Use the WOW! Mixed Media Brush tool to add embossing ink to the stamped design. I used Soft Mango embossing powder for the tops of the bags and the Riviera trio for the tea leaves.
Step 3. Cut the design loose and adhere to a circular tea bag. Treat the bag and the image with embossing ink and cover with Clear Gloss powder. Repeat to create a thick layer on top.
Step 4. Cut your elements - two cardstock squares of the same size, a bit smaller piece of handmade paper and a still smaller piece of another handmade paper.
Step 5. Adhere the handmade papers on top of each other. Mount the two on top of the cardstock and decorate using a machine stitch. Also add the focal point in place.
Step 6. Stamp a greeting to a piece of vellum using WOW! ink and emboss using British Summer. Fold the vellum to the back of the card.
Step 7. Adhere the other cardstock piece to the back of the card securing the vellum between the layers of the cards.
Step 8. Finish the card using some crystals. Or make your own using WOW! powders!
So, now you know how I made this card. Hope you enjoy the hop!
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a pleasant, creative weekend!
