The Bright Professor - a canvas

It's Fri-yay! This time the Friday process video is a canvas type of creation. I'm not sure if you have noticed, that I try to create different projects in my process videos each month? I aim to have a card typed piece, an art journal project and also a canvas or altered one. As most months have more than three videos, the extra ones might be copy of any of the types.

But back to today's project - a canvas of sorts. I first thought to work on top of an actual canvas, but then thought to use an old book cover instead, following a kind of recycling or repurposing theme. As you can see from the process video below, I also used a couple of acrylic techniques in the make, both playing with the idea of the paint drying in different rates.

I used stamped elements as my focal point this time. To add some dimension to the piece, I used foam tape to mount some of the elements. But the bigger dimension is added through the wire. I wanted something grungy to the piece so I wrapped some wire around the base and threaded also a couple of glass beads through it.

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

PS. If you have any wishes about the process video projects, please let me know!
