Hi there and happy new week! ...well, it's Tuesday already, but still, a new week has started. Today and tomorrow I'm sharing with you a couple of art journal pages. They are somewhat similar as they both have a Tim Holtz paperdoll as the center of attention. The other similarity is the use of Kate Crafts's printables. You can find the Etsy shop here (link).
Like I said in my earlier post, Kate contacted me some time ago and as a result I got access to her printables. And there's SO many! I did a couple of projects but only scratched the surface of the vast amount of the files.
In this page I used the printables in the background collage together with some old book paper pieces. The embellishments around the edge are also printables - first mounted to a piece of cardstock and then cut loose. The embellishments give a look though the character was hiding in a bush, so I chose this piece of text from Tim Holtz's "Snarky" pad: "If you met my family, you would understand". I love to make little stories in my art journal pages or ATCs when I'm using pictures of people. Sometimes they may be obvious to all or then just something for me.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a great week!
