Moikka and happy August! Summer time is slowly winding down and autumn starts to peek its head around the corner. Luckily there's still warm days and sunlight ahead.
Here's some ATC-styled cards I created. I say ATC-styled, because the measurements are a bit off with these wooden bases. When I saw them in a shop, I thought to see if they could be ATCs but they are a bit on the narrow side. I treated them like ATCs anyhow and created a series I call "Tikusta asiaa". Direct translation would be something like "make a thing out of a stick", but it refers to making an excuse to have a start a conversation with someone or about something.
I created the backgrounds for these using my gel plate. I brayered different colors on top of the plate, patterned the layer of color and then printed the little wooden pieces. After the paint had dried I added some embossing to them as well as some stamping and doodling. The main compositions are made using a die cut, a piece of washi tape, Tim Holtz paperdolls and a text sticker. I finished the cards with colorful twine.
Should you want one of these, even though they are not the correct ATC size, please let me know in an email! I'd be happy to send these out on a journey!
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great start to the new week!
