Heippa ja happy Friday! I'm sounding like a broken record, but will say it again anyway - Friday means a new process video! This time I'm showing this art journal page which I made combining A.B.Studio and Fox and Found Studio printables.
As you can see from the video below, I start the page by adding a piece of book paper to an A.B.Studio paper. That makes my background. Then on top I start layering some mediums - gesso, modeling paste and watercolors. I also use the watercolors to color the printable embellishment, the tea cup but for the spoon I use just a pencil. Then I can make the main composition with different printables and add a lace doily underneath the cluster.
I've gathered the names of the printables I've used here underneath. The main photo is from a Victorian Cabinet Card Photos. The tea cup and spoon are from the Tea Lover ATC Backs. I really love the vintage air in both! For the layers behind these focal elements I mixed some printables with a tag I made out of kraft cardstock and dried tea bags.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! And Happy Mother's Day if you celebrate that this coming Sunday - we in Finland do.
