Hi there and pleasant Monday! Today I have a set of ATCs to share with you. These are also part of "on summer vacation, fuzzy cut" - series as the focal points are cut from an A.B.Studio scrapbooking paper.
My first idea was just to make a "manly" series of cards using the focal point pictures and grungy backgrounds. But then the images seemed to have a common nominator - Phileas Fogg. One is a picture of him, another his top hat and then a hot-air balloon for travelling. Although Phileas doesn't use a balloon for his quest, such a thing is mentioned in the book.
The backgrounds of the cards are one using Aladine's Izink ICE together with some acrylic paints and book pages. I also added some Posca doodles there. Each card also has an eyelet to add to the grungy feel. Or maybe they are there for the pocket watch?
