Moikka! Would you like a new video perhaps? You're request is heard! I made this mixed media piece using different Sizzix dies. It's a bit to the grungy side, so if you rather see something with a more Valentine's flair, you can visit the Valentine's hub (link) at Sizzix UK site.
I first created a bunch of elements to be used in this project using the dies. The grungy gears and machine parts are cut using Bigz "Steampunk Parts" die. I also cut a couple of frames using Bigz "Trinket Frames" die and then adhered those on top of each other making the frame bulkier. All of these elements I painted using black gesso, metallic acrylic paint and last treated with a wax to make them look like old, oily machine parts.
The flowers in the piece were treated using white gesso, however, and colored with watercolors. The stems were originally cut using Bigz "Large Stems" die. If you want to see how I made the piece, please see the video below!
