Peaceful Independence Day to all Finns!
There's still a few days time to send the Christmas cards here in Finland with the discounted postage price and even after that they still should make it before Christmas time if posted with the higher cost. And naturally you can just give the cards to loved ones when you meet them! So, Christmas cards are still going strong!
To hopefully inspire you to create a card, here's one I did using Sizzix dies. You may notice that the church is looking a bit peculiar. The reason is that it's from a Halloween die set, "Ghost Town"! But while the windows and door are a bit off, I still felt that the silhouette would work in a Holiday greeting as well. No need to limit using the Halloween dies only around Halloween!
As I wanted to present the church as a silhouette, I created a starry night sky styled background for it. I used several inks and white gesso and then cut the circle using a Sizzix die. If you want to see how I made the card, please see the video below!
Thank you for stopping by today! If you wish to see more Christmas makes, there's a link in Sizzix UK main page (link) to Christmas hub, several videos and also to an Advent calendar! Make sure you explore those!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
