Art Paradise - Prima Marketing

Hello there and happy Monday! How are you all doing? It's been a truly autumn-like day here in Finland as it's been raining the whole day. But what makes me happy is the show tonight - hope you can join me at Artists Live! More info about that here (link) in a post from last Tuesday.

Today I'm sharing an older project that has just been hanging in my drafts. It's an album cover made with the Essentials kit by Prima. There's two gessos, black and white, White Sand texture paste, Modeling Paste, Soft Gloss Gel and 3D Gel. More about the kit for example here (link).

In this project I used all of the mediums mentioned. They do work splendidly on their own but create magic when combined as well. And if you are new to mediums, it's a perfect way to start experimenting as the jars aren't that big and you get a lot of different mediums in one go.

I started the cover by spreading some of the Texture Paste to the cover and then created a touch of pattern with Modeling Paste and a stencil. On top I used the 3D Gel to adhere my embellishments. After drying, I added the gessos, the colors and then used Soft Gloss Gel to adhere my beads.

Have a great evening! Hope you can join me at Artists Live, it would be so fun to see you there!
