It is the journey - ScrapFX

There's two styles of journeys - the holiday ones and then something more abstract. The journeys of growth, craft journeys or life itself. As the first page I did for ScrapFX this month was about an actual holiday trip, I thought to make the other page about more of an abstract journey.

I picked the colors from the photo I used - vintage brown and mystical purple. I also added some black for the contrast. The photo itself is taken from the back window of the train while the summer sun was setting.

In the background I layered two stencils: I first used the mask style Number Party Stencil and misted brown mist to the paper. On top I created some random lettering or words with the Travel Stencil. They bring a touch of structure to the piece. As a finishing touch I also added some drawn circles using the Random Dots Stencil.
