Hi there! Two down, one to go! I've been posting layouts I created for a blog post in Scrap365's blog. What they all have in common are the lovely threads by Kreinik.
I guess you can spot a mile away that I was inspired by the one and only Louise Nelson while making this page. When thinking about threads, she's the person that pops in mind! She's really a wizard of using thread in her creations!
In this piece I kept the layers under the photo minimal and added metallic and silk thread underneath the photo. I glued the thread down really loosely so it would keep its flow and softness. It gives a playful look for the layout cascading from underneath the photo.
The topic of this layout is my younger one. While leafing through my stash of photos either to be scrapped or that can be scrapped I noticed how much she has changed in a very short time. She's definitely not a baby anymore but a little girl. Her features have changed so that she's not so baby-like anymore and her personality has gone even stronger. I love how you can see the change when you compare this older photo and the way she looks now.
Thank you again for your visit here at my blog! And thank you for commenting, if you have the time! Tomorrow I will start a new set of three but those three come more scattered along the next week. Mysterious, eh?
Materials: Kreinik, 7 Dots Studio, 3rd Eye, Tattered Angels, Talens, UmWowStudio, Ranger
