This is what I love - PaperHaus

Hi there! Are you up for an oldie? This layout was published last winter in PaperHaus Magazine, issue 6. The picture on it, however, was taken a year before after the coldest part of the winter was behind and there was a warmer period.

The best part of winter 2012 for my younger daughter was the giant pool of icy water. She did like building snowmen and sledding, too, but nothing could compare to the pool. I had to tell her constantly not to go too close or better yet, take a dive to the pool. It was so deep that I guess it would have reached her shoulders if standing in there. But oh the joys of playing with the icy cold water! Pouring it from bucket to another and adding pieces of ice in the mix. Brr! I'm getting cold just by thinking! But she absolutely loved it!

I used a lot of grey in the layout but added some sunny orange and yellow in there, too. The background has mesh tape and gesso together with 3rd Eye suns stamped and colored.

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a lovely Friday! This evening my husband plays live for the very first time - please wish him luck!
