Welcome to Frosty Festivities Blog Hop! If you arrived from Natalie's blog, you're on your way!
I got the invitation to join the hop from Jennifer Grace some time ago and was happy to be involved! If you get lost along the way, please return to Jennifer's blog to find the list of stops along the way. There's also prizes to be won along the way! Please leave a comment on all the blogs in the hop and then let Jennifer know you've completed the hop. That way you'll be in with a chance to win a jolly seasonal prize of Simple Stories December Documented and Elle’s Studio Noel items, worth over £28! All entries must be received by Monday the 11th of November at 10.59pm GMT. I might include that there might be some extra giveaways along the way, so start hopping! Or you might want to scroll a bit further down first... hint, hint!
The calendar is showing November and the weather lately has been really autumny. There's no snow in sight yet, so I decided to use these icy pictures taken last winter. When visiting the nearby park at the verge of spring we found there a huge icy pool. I mean huge! It almost covered third of the play area! And of course it was the most exciting thing ever for the little one. I only had to watch her not to go ice swimming totally!
I used a 7 Dots Studio paper as the background and created a subtle icy pattern to it using gesso and a crackle stamp by 3rd Eye. I then colored the surface lightly with Distress Inks and added a few flicks of Glimmer Mist, too. Peeking behind the photos you can also see some bubble wrap stamped images, that I covered with white embossing powder.
Thank you for stopping by! Your next stop along the hop is Rinda!
As I mentioned some of the stops along the way offer a prize of their own. By commenting to my post you can win a 10 € coupon to Mixed Media Place, one of my favorite online shops! They carry 7 Dots Studio, 3rd Eye and various paint mediums which I used in my creation. The giveaway is open to everyone until Monday 11th November at 10.59 GMT! Good luck! Please leave your contact info to the comment or be sure you have it in your blog/profile, so I can contact you!
Materials: 7 Dots Studio, 3rd Eye, My Mind's Eye, Tattered Angels, Wow, Ranger, Talens, MT Masking Tape, Sakura, American Crafts, Carta Bella

Great LO it really captures the icy mood.
Love these sweet photos!! Beautiful LO. Very wintery and fun.
How lovely of you to offer a gift voucher to Mixed Media. Please don't enter my name into that drawing, as shipping to USA would eat up the voucher or cost too much extra. It is a very lovely gesture, though, and some lucky winner will have fun shopping!
