Siskot / Sisters

LilyBeen papereista tehdystä kolmikosta tämä on suosikkini. Turkoosia, punaista ja kermaa. Tässä on aiheena siskokset, jotka innokkaasti touhuavat yhdessä. Tausta on tehty liitu/vesiväri -tekniikalla, josta löytyy video täältä (klik) ja kuvatutoriaali täältä (klik).

Of the three layouts I made with LilyBee's papers, this one is my favourite. Turquoise, red and cream. The topic is those two little girls, sisters. The background is made with crayon/watercolor technique, you can find a video here (click) and a tutorial here (click).

Jyväskylä

Tällainen sivu syntyi jokunen viikko sitten myös LilyBeen papereista. Niiden lisäksi sivussa on maalarin teippiä, mistejä ja muutama koriste. Aiheena on kesälomaretki ja Jyväskylä, josta löytyi tämä hurmaava talo. 

Tulipa lyhyt teksti, nyt ei oikein kirjoitus näytä sujuvan. Menenpä siis tekemään lisää sivuja!

I did this page some time ago using LilyBee papers. There's not much else in the page - just a few pieces of masking tape, some mists and a few decorations. The topic is our summer trip to Jyväskylä, where this cute and gorgeous house was just waiting for to be photographed.

It seems I'm not in the writing mode right now, maybe I'll go and make some more pages!

My Little One - Flourish

Tällainen sivu syntyi tässä viikolla. Sivun kanssa kävi se klassinen, joka käy aika usein leiskaa työstäessäni: teen taustaan jotain kivaa ja lopuksi huomaan, ettei sitä enää juurikaan näy. Mutta ihan mieluinen tästä joka tapauksessa tuli. 

Paperit ovat LilyBeetä. Hommasin niitä joitakin - yhdistävänä tekijänä on turkoosi, mutta valkkasin sitten kolmea "tehosteväriä". Tässä sivussa on keltainen, tulevissa on vaaleanpunainen ja punainen. Koristeena on Stash Panachen nappi. 

Thickersien valta alkaa näemmä heilua, sillä leiskoihini on alkanut ilmestyä myös muita kirjamia. Hassua! Näihin LilyBeen aakkosiin ihastuin heti.

This layout was created during this week. I had the usual thing happening again with this page - I created something nice from the background and then I noticed when the layout was ready, that I ended up covering almost all of it. But I like the page all and all. 

The papers are from LilyBee. I purchased some of them and created three kits. They all have turquoise together, but the "accent colour" changes. This one has got yellow, then there's pink and red. The lovely button is from Stash Panache. 

It seems that the reign of Thickers is weakening! I have noticed that I use some other alphas as well nowadays. When I saw these alphas by LilyBee, I immediately fell in love!
