Heippa hei and welcome to the Friday post and process video! This time I'm making a set of ATCs with stamping and some crayon resist.
As you can see from the process video below, I start by stamping some details to the background and also the focal points. I'm using inks to color the elements, but before coloring the backgrounds, I add some crayons to those and thus make a resist pattern. In the end the background doesn't show so much, but I really thought to use the sun as a halo from the start.
If you want to see how I made the cards, please see the process video underneath.
As you could see, I added some doodles to each of the ladies and changed them a little bit with those. They all look more or less the same, but each have a different pattern on the dress and some differences in the cheeks as well. A little bit of individuality to them!
As the last thing I added a story running across the cards by using some text stickers. The whole story goes: "What are you seeing? Tales of intrigue and adventure. Elmira is a curious woman." You can then decide if Elmira is inquisitive or peculiar! I love to add some storytelling in my crafts - usually in the form of little snippets of text.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Ps. Remember the YouTube live tomorrow! Hope to see you there!
