Hiya! Not so long ago I got some sample sheets along with my order from Nannan Paperi ja Helmi. They were from ScrapBoys and I thought to turn each sample into a card. This one is done using sample of "Lady in Red".
My goal in all of the samples and cards (yes, I got a few and turned them all into cards) was to use everything in the sheet to one card. I added another challenge for this particular one, too. That was to use my current favorite card shape but in a horizontal form rather than vertical, which I prefer. But I think the end result is ok!
I used a bright red cardstock as the base and added some ink splashes and splodges there. I also added some white splashes to match the white rim the cut out elements had. To give me a some kind of base for the composition, I then tore a piece of kraft paper and added that as the first layer. I then clustered the cut out elements on top, some with foam tape to give the cluster a bit of height. I finished the card with some drawn stitch lines.
I'll share the other cards eventually here in my blog. They are made using samples of "Rosalia", "Old Farm" and "Archivalia".
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a great day!
