Tea mouse - a card

Hi there and sweet new week! Did you have a great weekend? I had a long one as I had the Friday off and we went for a small trip to nearby destinations visiting a local watercolor factory, or rather their factory shop, an old church and also a 19th century great house. It was a lovely day!

Today I'm sharing a little card using different materials and mixed media. The focal point, the mouse on a saucer is from P13 paper collection called "Forest Tea Party". Underneath the mouse I added some layers using dried plants, a doily, some patterned paper and card stock and also mediums. There's white gesso and watercolors.

Beside the card, I also have something else to share! Nathalie Kalbach has this series of webinars called "Spill your heART". Once a month, Nathalie invites some artists to discuss a theme or a topic. With episode 7 the theme is "Design Team Talk" and the artists Nathalie invited for the episode are from her creative team members! The crew tackling the topic is Nathalie Kalbach, of course, and Robin Seiz, Nicole Watson, Emilie Murphy and me. We will talk about what it takes to join and flourish on a design team, how we approach assignments, the fun and challenge of participating, and what we take away from the experience. Nat's Creative Squad has been around since 2016 and has been host to a variety of members with a broad range of styles and backgrounds.

Hope you can join us on August 27th at noon EDT! You can get to know the Squad members a bit better and of course bring your questions about design teams, mixed media art making, and the idea of creativity on assignment! Here's the link for registration for the webinar (link)

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great week!
