Hi there! I have wonderful news for you! I was asked to teach online during a Mixed Media Sweden weekend! The online crop is from Friday April 23rd until Sunday 25th. I'm one of four educators keeping workshops then - there's also courses by Olga Heldwein, Belinda Basson and Marta Debicka. You can see all the workshops here (link), password is VIP2020.
I will keep two workshop during the weekend. A shorter, quicker one on Friday and a longer workshop in two part on Saturday. I will share the shorter one today and the longer one tomorrow! If you want to join in, you need to be swift as the enrolling is open only until the end of the week, Sunday March 28th!
The shorter workshop is called "Teatime Treat". You can see my sample project here. The project may differ a bit depending what's available for the kit. The course is about a quick mixed media card. For Swedish participants there's a kit available, but especially this card is easy to do without the kit, too. There will be a complete list of the materials needed in a Facebook group for this workshop. The workshop will be held through Zoom so you can ask questions and show your work. But as it is such a short workshop, you can also ask questions, share your work and communicate through the Facebook group afterwards and before the class. A recording of the live workshop will be also available through the group.
DESCRIPTION:
I adore black tea – both for its taste and color. It goes so well with old book pages and vintage photos. But tea also makes a great colorant and craft material! During this 1,5-hour workshop we speedily craft a mixed media card using tea in various ways.
Coffee-lovers also welcome!
