Hello there! How are you doing? Good, I hope. Even though the situation still asks for social distancing, Easter is around the corner no matter what. This year we'll celebrate with just the family, no guests, not even my mother-in-law who usually is invited for an Easter dinner.
Here's a card I did using Sizzix dies. I guess in this current situation sending greetings to loved ones might be more appreciated than ever! Even though there's phone calls, messages and even video calls, nothing quite gets the message across like a hand-made, hand-written card.
If you want to see how this card was made, please see the video below.
As you can see from the video, I used a couple different dies in this make. The lace like background is done using a Thinlits "Doodle Art" die. I added an adhesive sheet in the back before cutting so it was easy to layer on top of the patterned paper. The focal point is done using both a Thinlits "Pretty Wreath" die and an oldie but goodie Framelits "Circles" die. The circle acts as a background for the willow wreath on top.
Besides the dies I also used some other Sizzix supplies. They both are from the Making Essentials line (link) that just got bigger! I used a cardstock pack and some permanent markers, but nowadays the range even has some glitters and sequins! Those two are on discount for a very short time, by the way, so hurry to Sizzix site (link) to get yours!
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a sunny weekend!
Ps. Have you participated to the blog hop yet? If not, you still have a couple of days time to do so! You can find the hop here (link).
