Dreamy ATCs - A Flair for Buttons

Want to swap an ATC with me? I'm always keen on swapping these little things. It's so wonderful to receive actual mail around the world and see all the artistry there is!

For my second post on A Flair for Buttons blog I created a set of four cards. The color scheme is spring-like pastels and the flairs I used as the focal points represent butterflies and setting dreams to fly, which to me fits perfectly to the beginning of the year and spring.

I guess it's nowadays no surprise to you that I used mixed media touches while making the backgrounds to the cards. I started with some watercolors and then added stamping and doodling on top. To have something dimensional in there as well, I lastly added modeling paste through a stencil to create the raised script.

The embellishments include the flair buttons but also some thread, stickers and punched floral shape. And there's some bling, too. You can't finish a project without a few blingy touches, right?

Thank you for your visit! And please send me a mail if you'd like to swap an ATC with me!

Sets used:

Materials: A Flair for Buttons, Prima Marketing, 7 Dots Studio, Scrap FX, Fiskars, Ranger
